At Stonehouse Farm, we believe happy hens lay delicious eggs. Our flock of Rhode Island Red mixes enjoys days roaming freely from sunrise to sunset, grazing within a spacious, predator-protected pasture surrounded by secure electric fencing. Each night, they settle comfortably into their coop—a lovingly restored historic corn crib. Supplemented with wholesome grains, nutritious seeds, and kitchen scraps, our hens produce beautiful brown eggs filled with rich flavor and goodness. Our eggs are sold unwashed to preserve their natural protective coating—called the bloom—which helps keep out bacteria and lock in freshness. Because we refrigerate all eggs after collection, they can stay fresh for up to 6 months when stored properly in your refrigerator. For best quality, we recommend using them within the first 2–3 months. Be sure to wash eggs just before use, not before storing.

Each carton is labeled with the collection date of the oldest egg inside, so you know exactly how fresh your eggs are. We also include all legally required disclaimers to keep you informed and safe.
